AwEsOmE wEeKeNd!!

Although I was clearly a beginner at remotes, they all ran smoothly for the most part & I was very pleased. Next time will be even better... & hopefully that pattern will continue for awhile.

The cutest 12-year-old boy stopped by to talk to me at Balloonfest on Saturday afternoon... He said, "I LOVE this station!!" & -- this one is awesome -- "I can't believe I'm actually talking to you right now!" How sweet is that? He made my heart melt. He gave me his souvenir polaroid from the event so I'll remember him... how could I forget?!

I met so many listeners who had great comments about the station! Balloonfest was a really fun event -- my favorite balloon was the "Purple People Eater". It was a great day!

Saturday night we watched fireworks on the lake, fun times :) Having friends is a necessity in Ashland! Sunday & Monday I spent in Pittsburgh -- saw the AMAZING fireworks at the Point with some of my best friends. All in all, it was a great weekend.

On my way back here this morning, I listened to my favorite DJ's (who I MISS SO MUCH!) PollyWogg on 98.3 (turned me into a DJ b/c I wanted to be JUST LIKE her, but me!), TadPole on 95.1 (we e-mail everyday, I miss my snack buddy!), & Sean Stevens on Mix 98.9 (sexiest radio voice EVER!)
