BUSY BUSY BUSY WEEK!

A 4-day weekend would be welcomed by most people... but all the work leading up to the weekend is making this one busy 3-day week. Lots of commercial production and LOTS of voicetracking.

Monday-Friday, I'm voicetracking the 6-midnight shift (our program director is on vacation this week, so we've all picked up an extra hour on-air to cover). I also have my usual 3-8 Saturday shift. Of course, Wednesday through Saturday must be done before I leave the building Wednesday night.

Thursday night, my usual Request Show will instead be a Thanksgiving Special -- with listeners (pre-recorded, of course, since I'll be home with my family like most everyone else!) saying what they're thankful for (this is instead of phone call requests that usually air). Wednesday should be easy -- with 2 "Winsday" contests to promote, execute, and air a winner... and the AMA's to talk about. It should be easy, however time-consuming, to get all the work done before I leave for PITTSBURGH :)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING, everyone!

I remember when broadcasting meant working holidays. How'd it go.
