The Weekday Request Show is going REALLY WELL! Phone calls on-air every night -- something I'm so proud our station's come to do... especially since I'm the one doing it (and I was the one pushing for it!)
Yesterday, Colman, Gene, & I went to the Main Street Grille (new to downtown Mansfield August 2005) to try some tasty food -- and talk about it on the air. It was a fun, laidback lunch (with my boss? Yes, only in broadcasting!) I learned some more history about the station, plans for promotions, etc. It was neat to reap the benefits of being a local celebrity, too! I'm always up for free food!
Last week, I gave one of my co-workers an aircheck in hopes to get feedback & continue improving. He gave me some tips tonight -- and some positive feedback, too! I'm hoping this can continue... because, obviously, I want to continue improving. :)
