"Heatwave"

This crazy weather makes me want to move away after graduation! It's 30 degrees today & that feels WARM compared to the last few days.

This Week in Broadcasting...
* Sunday night, I ran the Steelers game on Froggy and WKST (simulcast) until 9PM. After that, it was back to my typical late-nite board op shift of
and New Music Nashville.
* Monday, Pat & I had our first morning show since we've been back from winter break. I always have so much fun on the morning show -- it sets the tone for a good week! We talked about snow and winter activities a lot -- and had some school delays to report, too. Our New Music Monday pick was "Almost" by Bowling for Soup. We also had Kirstan preview the news. & of course, talked about the depressing Steelers loss...
* The rest of the week, I have WKST news everyday.

Career Goals...
* Last week, I talked to my Program Director at Froggy 95 about learning more in radio. I'm hoping to go on some more remotes soon. I also told Ashley that I plan to follow her around one night while she does production, since commercial production jobs usually want someone with experience.

Media-Related News...
* Oscar nominations released January 25th!

Haha I wouldn't exactly call 30 degress a heatwave!

Yeah, all morning ABC news was running like a :45 segment on award nominees. Craziness.

Megan: I can't remember if I'm repeating myself-- but have you done any research into the radio markets that surround the Nashville area-- what ADI's they are-- station ownerships, which ones are news/talk formats-- and compile lists and start sending out CD's?
