Get Into The Groove!

Back from Spring Break (& Punta Cana -- a WONDERFUL place!) and it's time to get back into the groove...

This Week in Broadcasting...

* No Pat & Megan In the Morning this week.

* Froggy 95.1 shift went well tonight -- I got a few compliments on my DJing from people who I didn't know even listened, so that was a plus!

* I have a job interview Monday at a country music station! Full-time! Ron Colman is the program director and morning show host @ WNCO in Ashland, Ohio. (He used to be the PD for WBZY -- which used to be 1280AM before Forever Broadcasting took over and made it WJSTAM. Connections are GREAT!) He sounded very upbeat and positive on the phone -- definitely my kind of person and someone I would love to work for! I'll keep y'all posted!

* Back to work @ WKST (I missed it!) Tuesday afternoon. This week, I also have a Saturday morning shift 5AM-8AM.

Career Goals...

* As Mr. Colman said when he called me, "So you want to be a DJ when you grow up!" haha My ultimate goal is to be a morning show host -- with either a side news gig or promotions director -- something along those lines.

* I'm still extremely interested in news. I'm pursuing other opportunities in this area, as well.
