NEW STUDIO
Our new studio is beautiful. I stand in it everyday, even though it's not ready yet. But, tomorrow IT WILL BE! :)
That's right, WNCO-FM will be operating in a brand-new studio. The phone system will be easier to use (great for the request show & Winsday winners)... We now have two screens for NexGen (VERY helpful!)... and it's so CLEAN (you should see how messy our current studio is!) Kenny & Ron (our engineers) have been working their BUTTS off on the studio, & early tomorrow morning they will make the switch. I'm coming in for *voluntary* training tomorrow morning at 7AM. I don't want to MISS any training that my progam director might not think is useful, but the "newbie" ...aka, ME... will. I can't wait!
I will be entering the 2000's soon & purchasing a digital camera... so hopefully I'll post pictures soon.
In other news...
I'm bringing Chris (boyfriend) to Pittsburgh this weekend to show him how the nightlife SHOULD BE! We are hoping to go to Kennywood on Sunday, too.
Anyone who's going to Geauga Lake in the next few weeks... go on a Wednesday! The longest we waited in line was 20 minutes, it made for a great time! (They're now promoting their "Halloweekends" & they had an "Afterlife Channel 13 News" Van outside the park with fake reports & I thought it was really neat! I thought of all my equally nerdy broadcast buddies who would also appreciate such a display :)

Yeah, Geauga Lake never really has long lines.... plus, no one really liked Six Flags and so now they're still rebuliding and fixing now that GL is back....lol
Sounds like a very nice place to work.
